Show and tell.

The fire looks awesome.! I think maybe the photography used a fish eye lens and it added a really cool effect to the photo.

Sports??

1.) Focal length of lens - 1.4L

2.) Shutter Speed -1/250

3.) What is the effect of shooting at this shutter speed?- From shooting at a fast shutter speed you capture the motion without it blurring.

4.) Aperture-5.6

5.) It allows the lighting to be dark but still you can see all of the players. You can see the crowd and the court and it adds a lot more depth.

6.) Position - Laying on the court pointing up.

Inspiring.! :D

I like this picture the most. It inspired me like for real. :) I love the way the creek look, it's pretty, though it's polluted and has trash surrounding it. Which kind of kills it, but the contrast and the saturation it's nice. Actually I think the trash makes it better, adds more depth to it.. I love her braclet even. The happy smiling star it makes me happy.

Action and Emotion

This picture has alot of emotion in it. She is so scared but she's brave also. The action in this picture takes place in her arm. The needle is drawing blood because she is a very nice, caring person :) she is cringing and clenching her teeth.

Intresting one..(kinda.)

Out of all the pictures I found this picture to be the most intresting. The girl alone is pretty intresting. Her face, she looks alittle crackhead like, but intresting and lovely. I'm really curious to know what it is that they are all looking at. There's the line behind and the girl all facing the same way.

The Story

This picture tells the best story. There is alot going on with the chior. They are clapping and singing along with the song. The director is about to get fired because all he does is keep his hands out infront of him and the prinicple is now realizing that. There are parents in the audience, so proud of their babies, up there singing.

Great Black and White Photographers, Continued.

For the first photo, where the person (girl or boy) is jumping into the water, I like the splash and the way the water looks. Jacques-Henri Lartigue caught so much action with one simple click. It makes me want to go swim :)
I see water, splashing, legs and I imagine just having fun, maybe a few friends around laughing.
When looking at the picture I can smell the lake or creek. The water there, I love it :] I want to go to the lake now. Going along with the picture I can hear laughter, like a bunch of friends down by the lake having fun. Maybe some music in the background. I usually get a mouthful of urine infested lake water, I get that taste (bleh). I feel the warm lake water surrounding me, and the sun burning down on my face.

On the second photo, with the woman it was her intensity that caught my attention first. She looks so classy, I wanna look all fancy like her! She looks so sad but shes still intense.! :D
This picture is exactly what I imagine sadness as. Kind of a romantic tragedy, like Edward Scissorhands. Her husband maybe just died. I can smell the rose and flowers and the smell that a closed off room has when there's a dead body somewhere in it. Maybe you know what I mean? I cant explain it as well as I wish I could. I hear silence, so, nothing, a few sniffles every now and then. Some lady sobbing very loud. Jeez, flashbacks. I just got shivers.. I cant make sense of it but whenever there's a death around I get a numb, kind of irony taste, like when you bite your tounge and blood just ozzes out. A bitter sweet picture most definatly.

The rule used in this picture is rule of thirds.
I like this picture really just because of the Beatles (hehe), but it is a good picture.

My Positive and Negative pictures-

I found that on my negative photo my shoe/heel on the left of the picture is flipped on the right of the positive. The color is switched, the gray is where the white orignially was and vise versa.

Negative- Photography. noting an image in which the brightness values of the subject are reproduced so that the lightest areas are shown as the darkest.

A positive image is a normal image. A negative image is a tonal inversion of a positive image, in which light areas appear dark and vice versa. A negative color image is additionally color reversed, with red areas appearing cyan, greens appearing magenta and blues appearing yellow.
