Cover History

Early magazine covers introduced the table of content and title. They had pictures that were about what they were talking about. Poster covers were used for magazines and books as covers, they were more appealing and caught interest. Pictures married to type is where the text on the magazine and the picture went together. Instead of the text being on top or bottom of the photo they just lay on top. In the forest of words refers to how there is alot of text on the picture, talking about what is inside and everything.

fav-fav-favorite.

I'm very indecisive and I couldn't choice my favorite song. I'm stuck between "Zero" by Yeah Yeah Yeah's and Kid Cudi: "Pursuit of Happiness". Never mind, I love Kid Cudi... But I love the Yeah Yeah Yeah's but "Pursuit of Happiness" was completely amazingg. Ok, I've made my mind up. Kid Cudi "Pursuit of Happiness" was my favorite song of 2009 and will be one of my favorites for a long time.

Where the Wild Things Are is my favorite movie of 2009, it was my favorite book when I was younger and now it's my favorite movie. I fricking love, love, loved it! :)

'Female Viagra' - this is my favorite story of 2009. No, not really. I just don't care enough about the other stuff and this made me laugh.

Favorite photo- Mi Gusta :DD

I'm doing a self portrait,

I am going to do a couple of self portraits and a couple of portraits of maybe Ethan and Catherine.
I am going to shoot the picture outside, maybe at the fields. I have an idea that involves dandelions, there are a lot over by new tech. I want to shoot where I'm comfortable, which is outside in a field with the sun. It's kind of cheesy but I hope to get a picture of me blowing the dandelion. It's one of my favorite plants, even if it's a weed -.- With the sun shining. I don't know what I'm going to wear or anything but I'm sure it will be alright for a picture.

Portraits

For a photo to be good it should be captivating. A person should be able to see it and play a story in their head. Its should be ORIGINAL. Not cliche and over done. A photographer's style and the person in the picture's personality should be clear. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, and its true. I want to be able to see a picture and be inspired. To me thats what makes a good picture.
For my potraits I want to do an enviromental shot. I want to be able to tell a story or describe either me or the persons personality, and emotions. For my self portrait I want to express myself most defiantly, I'm not sure what to express about myself though. There's nothing too important about me or special that sticks out especially. How do I express non importance? Eh, I'll figure something out.

My Christmas Break (wish it didn't end)

My favorite memory from my break was sitting on the street with some friends New Years Eve and popping fireworks, black cats. It's not that I didn't do other stuff over the break and that's all I have to talk about and I'm not really sure why I liked it so much. It was just calming, but exciting at the same time.
I didn't do too much of anything besides hang out with some friends. Nothing exactly school appropriate. Unless you'd like to hear it. I did have a lot of fun adventuring, wandering wherever our feet would take us, I always appreciate some good air and adventure.
Nothing very interesting has happened to me this year. I'm a boring person in reality. Just a little crazy. Maybe I'll remember a few parties. Oh uhmmm, a four foot something, yeah, I'll remember that..

:)

2009 favorites.

I like this picture because of the kids' faces. Some look excited for their little graduation that has been set up, others confused. The photographer balanced it out with two kids in focus on either side of one little girl. The other kids out of focus in the back more add a lot more depth to the photo and gives it more of a story.

For starters, this picture is more my "scene" you could say. I love how the singer is kneeling down, super into it. The photographer used the good lightning to his advantage. And there is a lot of emotion in this. It seems like the show was much better then it really was, judging by the crowd.

I love how abstract this is. I would have never guessed it was a shit load of rice. The photographer used really good shapes and shading.
